Hi, I’m Cheyenne (she/her)!

A therapist who has your back and your heart 🖤

Trust, Respect, and the Power of Feeling Understood 🖤

Therapy is built on trust and respect — without them, it’s just two people sitting in a room (or on a screen) making awkward small talk. If you don’t trust me, why would you share the things that matter most? And if you don’t respect me, well… you’d probably be questioning why you’re even here. That’s why I place so much emphasis on building a genuine, honest connection — one where you feel safe, supported, and understood.

Therapy isn’t about me telling you what to do; it’s about creating a space where you can explore, process, and grow at a pace that feels right for you. I’m here to walk alongside you, not ahead of you — though I might occasionally throw in a metaphor or a well-timed joke to lighten the load.

What I’ve Learned So I Can Help You Grow 🖤

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a minor in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) in 2019, followed by my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from SNHU in 2022. During my graduate training, I completed a practicum and internship from June 2021 to August 2022 at Dragonfly Psychological Services under the supervision of Dr. Andrea Medaris, PsyD.

I’ve been seeing clients for several years now, and my approach is rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Experiencing. My work is person-centered and humanistic, meaning I believe therapy should be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to who you are — not just a one-size-fits-all approach.

Above all, I believe that the most powerful tool in therapy isn’t a technique or intervention — it’s the relationship we build together. Healing happens in connection, and my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and understood.

To continue deepening my skills, I’m currently enrolled in the Somatic Experiencing International Practitioner Program, further expanding my ability to help clients reconnect with their bodies and regulate their nervous systems in meaningful ways.

Beyond the Therapy Chair 🖤

I’m not just a therapist—I’m also a human. Here are some fun facts about me:

🐶 I have two dogs - a black lab named Emmett and a corgi named Olive - and a cat - Junie B - who fully believe they run my household.
🐰 I have a rabbit named Rorschach (Rory) after the founder of the inkblot test, Dr. Hermann Rorschach. He’s white with black spots!
🥔 I’m allergic to potatoes, which is honestly tragic. No fries for me.
🌊 I find my peace by the ocean — it’s my reset button.
📖 I devour romantasy novels (romance + fantasy = elite combo).
📺 I have an unapologetic love for reality TV. Yes, I know it’s ridiculous, and yes, I will still watch every second.

Ask Me About… 🖤

Want an easy icebreaker? Here are a few things you can ask me about when we meet:

🌊 The time I became the most popular kid in 4th grade for a day because I could pronounce the name of the place with the longest name in the US: Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg. I’ll even say if for you if you ask me nicely!
🏈 My unexpected (but very real) journey to becoming a Philadelphia Eagles fan. GO BIRDS!
📚 My most recent book obsession (spoiler: it probably involves a fantasy kingdom).
🐾 My pets and their very strong personalities.

At the end of the day, therapy is about you — but I also know that feeling comfortable with your therapist makes all the difference. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to get to know you, too.

Reach out, and let’s start the conversation. I promise — zero judgment and absolutely no potatoes.🖤

Send me a message — no pressure, no commitment, just two humans figuring out if we vibe.
